Guy H. Eriksen AGE: 57 • Forked River Guy H. Eriksen passed away on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born on May 6th, 1956 in Jackson, Michigan to Lillian Marie Eriksen and the late Robert Paul Eriksen. He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy Eriksen, his son Tony Eriksen, daughters Chelsea Eriksen, Jennifer Hudson and her husband Jayson. Also surviving are his three grandchildren, Conor, Kayla and Kennedy Hudson, his brothers Roger and wife Lori Eriksen, Valentine Eriksen, Jimmie and his wife Linda Eriksen, sisters Renee and Kathleen Eriksen. He is survived by his mother-in-law Nancy Dougherty, brother-in-laws Tom and his wife Kitty Dougherty, Bobby and his wife Melanie Dougherty, Brian Dougherty and sister-in-law Peggy and her husband Bob Ellis. He leaves behind nephews and nieces Erik and Karen Eriksen, Jasmin and Josh Adams, Andrew, Jimmie John and Robert Eriksen, Paul and Tom Sosnowski, Kate Ambrosio, Stewart, Kellen, Jacqui, Brennan and Kiana Dougherty. He will be dearly missed by his best friends Dave and Melinda Most and their family. Guy was valedictorian of his Lumen Christi High School graduating class in Jackson, MI in 1974. He spent eight years in the Navy aboard the SS Sam Rayburn submarine as an Electronics Technician First Class. He earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Monmouth University graduating Summa Cum Laude. He went on to Rutgers University to earn his Juris Doctor with Honors graduating 5th in his class. Guy worked for GPU Nuclear as a Senior Reactor Operator at the Oyster Creek Generating Station for 13 years, was an Intellectual Property attorney for Crummy, Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione moving to Lucent Technologies and had currently been the Lead Patent Counsel, Patent Operations for Technicolor located in Princeton, NJ. Guy cherished his family and friends, was a HUGE Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed wine collecting, independent movies, boating and traveling. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Guy was a very nice fellow, and a great shipmate.
His passing is very sad news.
